Johnny Appleseed Day

In September, we celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day. We learned about his life and spent the morning tasting apples, making applesauce and making our very own tin pots to go on our heads. Check out some of the pictures we took! We sure are having fun!

 We got to taste different kinds of apples with Nutella, caramel or peanut butter.

The green apples were very sour!

 We measured our apples.

And found out which kinds of apples were the biggest and the smallest.

We carefully glued our tin hats together.

Now they look just like Johnny Appleseed!

 We peeled and sliced our apples so we could make some yummy applesauce! It was delicious!
